Dr VAS METUPALLE
Chief Medical Officer
Is the Chief Medical Officer of 5Digital, fully owned subsidiary of Meta Health. He is responsible for the digital healthcare platform and clinical operations for the group’s healthcare assets. Dr Metupalle is a serial healthcare entrepreneur, having started a diagnostic services company, Clarity Radiology, and has advised several medtech and eHealth companies in South and South East Asia. He was the co founder of Singapore based digital health company, MyDoc in 2012. Dr Metupalle obtained an MBBS from King’s College London. He has also got an eMBA from Nanyang Business School. His focus is on technology driven productivity improvements in the provider space and bringing wider value based care platform, while working with payors and corporates.
Mr AHILLAN PUPALASINGAM
Chief Investment officer
Obtained a degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering and subsequently a Masters in Finance. He has been in investment banking for 20 years in various firms with the last one being Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In that tenure he ran various positions of responsibility including being the head of South East Asia Markets. Following this he ran his very own fund management company incorporated in Singapore. He has a very deep understanding of public markets and of various asset classes. Following this he has invested in a few different tech driven platforms including an e-commerce platform for automobile spare parts.
Dr BERNARD NG KEE HUAT
Executive Director
Obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the National University of Malaysia and his MBA from the University of Melbourne. He is a medical and clinical affairs leader with global, regional and local experience in Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industry. He is also an angel investor and advises fund management companies. He was previously the Chief Medical Officer, Head of Global Medical & Clinical Affairs for Bayer Consumer Healthcare. He is an active proponent of leveraging digital technologies and data to create disproportionate value for healthcare professionals, patients and consumers. He is a strong believer of the Disruptive Strategy model by the Clayton Christensen from Harvard Business School. He also was in IMD, Lausanne for a digital transformation course to better understand the disruptive power of platforms in today’s competitive healthcare environment

MAK PENG LEONG PHILIP
Chief Financial Officer
Our Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the Group. He is responsible for the Group’s overall financial management, internal control and compliance requirements. Mr Mak is also the Chief Risk Officer of the Group and sits on executive committee of the Group and participates in the strategic and policy making decisions of the Group. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Mak worked in a wide spectrum of companies including Singapore based multi-national corporations, publicly listed companies on the Singapore Exchange and public accounting firms. Mr Mak has more than 25 years of experience in audit and financial management. Mr Mak holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Australia in Adelaide, Australia. He is also a fellow member with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
BOON CHE KWANG
General Manager, MCE Thailand and Malaysia
Our General Manager for both MCE Thailand and Malaysia, and has been with MCE since 2004. He is responsible for the overall operations of MCE Thailand and Malaysia. Prior to his current appointment, Mr Boon held various management positions in production, engineering and operations in both MCE Thailand and Malaysia. Mr Boon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Major in Statistic and Computer Science) from Campbell University, North Carolina, America.
DING HONG YU RAIN
General Manager, MCE Suzhou
Our General Manager for MCE Suzhou. He is responsible for the operations of MCE Suzhou. Prior to his current appointment, Mr Rain held various management positions in program, production and operations in MCE Suzhou. Mr Rain graduated from Hubei Three Gorges Polytechnic with a degree in Electronic Information Engineering Technology.
NG CHEE HONG DARREN
Group Quality Assurance Manager
Our Group Quality Assurance Manager, has been with the Group since 2001. He is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System of the Group, across its manufacturing sites. Mr Ng holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours) from the National University of Malaysia. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and IATF Lead Auditor.
TAN WEE SUAN MAVIS
Corporate Materials Manager
Our Corporate MaterialsManager, has been with the Group since 1989. She is responsible for the Group’s materials planning, pricing negotiation and purchase strategy. Ms Tan holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the Singapore Productivity Standards Board Institute.
SUNG KIM MAY JUDY
Group Enterprise Resource Planning Manager
Our Group Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Manager, has been with the Group since 2008. She is responsible for the overall ERP system for the Group, providing technical advice, expertise and training to users. Ms Sung played an important role in assisting the Group to manage, automate and integrate the existing business process. Prior to her current appointment, Ms Sung was the Finance Manager of MCE Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Ms Sung has more than 20 years of working experience in finance management and was previously a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in UK.
CHONG HON PERNG SIMON
Group Human Resources Manager
Our Group Human Resources Manager, joined the Group in September 2020. Mr Chong is responsible for the overall implementation and provision of human resource services, policies and programs for the Group. He was a Group and Regional HR Manager in various Singapore companies that included public listed company and MNCs and had experience in the development and execution of strategic HR plans, management of the HR function and implementation of HR policies and programs in the Asia Pacific region. Mr Chong has over 35 years of diverse experience in the aerospace, marine, hospitality, chemical processing and manufacturing industries. He had also spent 4 years as an expatriate HR in China. He holds a Master of Science in Management from the National University of Ireland, Dublin and a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University of Technology, Australia, majoring in Human Resource Management. Mr Chong is also holds Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).
